Why we made it

Knotting is the heart of this one. Our illustrated guide covers 20 designs — chevrons, zig-zags, beaded macramé and more — using ten skeins of friendship thread in shades from lime green to light pink. Once the pattern is in your fingers, you start layering in pearls, faceted beads and silver and gold metallic beads, the way you would press one last shiny sticker onto a notebook cover.

Then there is the spelling side: 90 cubed alphabet beads and 65 round alphabet beads, enough to put your name, your BFF's name or a whole little motto on a stack of wrists. A unicorn pendant, a rubber heart pop bead and a glitter rainbow charm add the finishing sparkle. Everything tucks back into the unicorn case with divided sections, ready for the next sleepover or birthday party.
