Fidgeting and accessorizing finally share a pocket. We packed four ultra-soft TPR squishies — the blue kawaii monster, green turtle, pink bunny and white hamster — plus four clear pouches with holes, so each little buddy can be strung, clipped or worn. Squish them inside the pouch or pop them out for a bigger squeeze; they are made for repeat pokes and stretches either way.
From there it is your design call. 151 assorted beads — pearls, hearts, stars, flowers, faceted and round — plus a bag of seed beads and three bundles of elastic turn the squishies into bag charms, necklaces and bracelet stacks. Two ball chain necklaces, a keychain and four key rings mean your creations can hang from a backpack, purse or belt loop, like stickers you can actually squeeze.
I have never come across a charm set incorporating squishies. So when I saw this set I knew it was a must have. Charms and squishies are two of my daughter's favorite things at the moment. So the fact that she's able to use both at the same time was so exciting for her. The set is cute. Not the most high end, but still a fun set to create with. The beads are colorful and easy to place. Just a fun set.
We got this kit for my niece and godchild to play with when they’re over. The little squishy animals (dinosaur, axolotl, hamster, & bunny head) are cute. The kids like squeezing them as they string together the beads. Definitely do keep them entertained for a bit. The downside is the animals do pick up every bit of dirt and dog hair, so they do have to be careful keeping them clean. That’s probably why there’s a plastic zipped pouch that comes with them. This keeps the kids occupied, but personally I think these are odd “charms” to wear or carry around.
This is an easy to use kit that lines up really well with what my 8 year old daughter and her friends are into right now. They love squishy items, and this set steps it up a notch by letting them create bag charms and jewelry. It is a fun hands-on activity that gives kids a chance to let their creativity come out. The materials are of decent quality for the value for money. It also works as a great birthday gift if your daughter is crafty and enjoys making things.
I got these for my partner's twin niece and nephew, and they were a big hit. The twins are a bit young for the "crafty" aspect without some guidence, but that did make for some nice bonding time togther. My one minor complaint is I find the description a bit misleading... it states that you can "create 5 squishy charms", but only 4 squishies are included - technically you can create more than 5 charms with the various items included, but only 4 will have the squishy.
